Debra A Cervelli

Debbie passed away on November 27, 2024, at the age of 70, surrounded by love and care at the Bailey Family Center for Caring in St. Augustine, Florida. She was born on October 25, 1954, in Jonesboro, Arkansas, where she first demonstrated her passion for learning and exploration. After earning a BA degree with honors from Arkansas State University, Debbie's thirst for adventure took her to New York City, where she embarked on a successful business career. In 1987, she relocated to St. Augustine, Florida, where she excelled as a Purchasing leader in the aerospace industry.
In 2001, Debbie and her husband, Ron, moved to Denver, Colorado. There, she redirected her focus toward her creative passion-home design and décor. Debbie had an incredible gift for transforming new house constructions into warm, family-friendly homes. Her work reflected her love for beauty, creativity, and the sense of comfort she wanted to share with others.
Debbie's zest for life extended far beyond her professional and creative pursuits. She was an avid reader of historical books and had a deep fascination for historical sites. Her passion for travel and diverse cultures took her to India, China, Western Europe, Thailand, and countless other destinations across the globe. She also made it a point to visit nearly every state in the U.S., embodying her spirit of curiosity and adventure.
While we grieve the loss of someone irreplaceable, we celebrate the legacy Debbie leaves behind-a legacy of love, compassion, and joy. Let us honor her by living with the same grace, generosity, and passion that she modeled every day.
Debbie leaves behind a loving family and many dear friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, J.D. and Mabel Dent.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that contributions be made to a Cancer Society of your choice in honor of Debbie's strength and resilience.
