Debra L. Conner, 67, Joplin, MO, formerly of Neosho, MO., passed away December 24, 2025 at Freeman West Hospital Joplin after an illness.
Debra Lea Yost was born September 8, 1958 in Jefferson City, MO the daughter of Kendall and Lillian (Johnson) Yost. She had lived in Wyandotte, Neosho and Joplin. Debra (Mimi as she was known by her family), loved people, reading, traveling and especially spending time with her grandsons. Debra worked for the Eastern Shawnee Tribe of Oklahoma, where she was a floor clerk at the bingo hall. She had worked for the tribe 18 years. Starting at the former Bordertown Bingo and Casino then moving to Indigo Sky. She was a member of the Cherokee Nation.
Survivors include her husband Ralph Conner; her daughter Casie George, Joplin; step children, Shenoah Conner, Misty Conner and Carl Conner; one brother Steve Yost; six grandsons and three great-grandchildren.
Debra was preceded in death by her parents.
The family will receive friends from 6-7pm, Monday, December 29, 2025 at the Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home, Seneca, MO.
Graveside services will be held at 10:00am, Tuesday, December 30, 2025 at the Wyandotte Cemetery, Wyandotte, OK.
