On Thursday, January 8, 2026, Debra L. (Forry) Davidson, 68, of York, passed away at home with her family by her side. She was the devoted wife of John Charles "Charlie" Davidson for 32 years. Debra was born on October 14, 1957, in York, to Faye (Uffelman) Forry and the late Harry Forry.
Debra attended Susquehannock High School, then later received her GED from SEVCA of Hanover. She had worked for Kids Country School in Jacobus for several years, and had also been an aide for the Southern York County School District. Debra was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ in Glen Rock. In her younger years, she enjoyed bowling and was on a league at the Springfield Bowling Alley. Debra was a devoted mother who also enjoyed crocheting, being with her dogs, and spending time with her family.
Debra is survived by her husband, Charlie; three children, Michelle "Shelly" All (David), Wayne Smith, III (Ashley), and Ashley Davidson; one brother Wayne Forry; seven grandchildren, Taylor, Angel, Belle, Sara, Katelyn, Shelby and Kayla; thirteen great-grandchildren, Jayden, Brantlee, Emmy, Hudson, Carson, Ryker, Amberly, Aliyah, Lena, Arthur, Anya, Elias and Augustus; and her long-time friend, Lynn Yingling. She was preceded in death by her father; and one grandson, Christopher Miller.
Public viewings will be held on Monday, January 12, from 6:00pm until 8:00pm and again on Tuesday, January 13, from 10:00am until a funeral service begins at 11:00am, all taking place at Geiple-Predicce Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc., 53 Main St., Glen Rock, PA 17327. Interment will follow the service in Bethel United Methodist Church Cemetery, Brogue, PA. Pastor Brian Biery will officiate. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory are recommended to Cancer Care Associates of York, 25 Monument Road, Suite 294, York, PA 17403. Online condolences may be made at www.geiple.com.
