Debra Davis Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Gallagher Funeral Home and Crematory - Ball on Jan. 23, 2026.
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Debra Roberta Davis, 63, of Pineville Louisiana, whose life was defined by love, family, and faith.

Visitation for Debra will be held Tuesday, January 27, 2026, from 5:00-8:00 pm at Gallagher Funeral Home. Recitation of the rosary will take place at 7:00 pm, followed by a song and reflection in her honor. A mass of Christian burial will take place at 10:00 am on Wednesday, January 28, 2026, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father Donnie Kuzma and Deacon Kenny Sayes officiating. Interment will take place at Greenwood Memorial Park in Pineville, LA.

Pallbearers honored to serve are Paul Tassin, Nico Rivera, Thomas DeWilde, Trey Woodrum, Dean Wainwright, and Brian Slack. Honorary pallbearers will be Jayson Heims and Brandon Rivera.

Debra is preceded in death by her mother, Audrey "Dolly" Jarrett; father, Robert "Bob" Davis; brother, Richard "Mickey" Slack; and brother, Joe Clark.

Those left to cherish and celebrate her memories are her wife and partner of 26 years, Shawn McClinton Davis; son, Brandon Davis (Lauren); grandchildren, Chloe and Callie Davis; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Jerry and Debbie Spears; sister, Shannon Tassin (Paul); brothers, Brian Slack and George Clark; sister-in-law, Kristie Rivera; nieces and nephews, Amber Mockosher, Megan Buller, Morgan Tassin, Nico Rivera, and Brandon Rivera; and a host of extended family and friends.

Her family was always her number one priority, and nothing brought her greater joy than spending time with those she loved most – especially her treasured grandbabies, who were the light of her life. She enjoyed simple pleasures that created lasting memories, from family trips to the movie theater, to fishing and camping adventures. She had a lifelong love for Disney and Snoopy, which reflected her fun-loving and youthful spirit. She was also a devoted dog lover, finding comfort and companionship in her faithful pets. A lifelong member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, her faith guided her throughout her life and remained a steady source of strength.

Debra was immensely proud of her 35-year career with Proctor & Gamble, where she served as a software solutions expert. She made many lifelong friends through her time with P&G.

She will be remembered for her loving heart, her devotion to family, and the warmth she shared with everyone she met. She loved all of her caretakers, from nurses and staff, hospice care, and her medical team, Drs. Zeringue, Linger, and Timmer and all the visitors who share her positivity, prayers, and optimism. Her family will be eternally grateful for those special people.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her name to Make-A-Wish America.
