Debra S. Dickson, 67, of Burlington, died Friday, September 12, 2025, at Southeast Iowa Regional Medical Center in West Burlington.

Born on July 11, 1958, in Orange County, California, she was the daughter of James and Velma (Whitman) Foley. On August 1, 1994, in Burlington, she married Dennis Dickson.

Debbie attended Burlington High School. She worked for Winegard, being hired as a temporary employee and worked her way up to the office. In 2021, after working for over 20 years, Debbie decided it was time to retire from Winegard. Debbie was a woman of faith, always living her life for the Lord and serving others. She loved to cook for her neighbors, friends in need and her family. She volunteered for several benefits with her husband Dennis, helping to raise money for many different organizations. Debbie was a proud blood donor, being honored in the 5 gallon club. Most of all Debbie loved nothing more than her family, who brought her the most joy.

Debbie was a beloved daughter, mother, grandmother, aunt, sister and friend. She was a fighter and survivor and always there for everyone. A caring and loving soul that will be missed deeply by her family and friends.

She is survived by her husband Dennis; daughter Ericka (Daniel) Peralta of Florissant, Colorado; two grandchildren: Calvin and Lila; siblings: Cheryl (Jason) Perry, Jeff (Kathy) Foley, and Jimmy Foley; nephew Jake (Veronica) Perry and niece Jillian Perry. Also surviving are several great nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and sister Marie "DeDe" Anderson.

Per her wishes cremation has been entrusted and accorded to the care of Lunning Chapel.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

A memorial has been established in her memory for any organization of your choice.
