Debra Raedean Drosche, 69, of Manor, passed away Saturday, July 6, 2024. Shortly after Debi graduated from Manor High School she moved to New York City where she worked for ADP on Wall Street. After spending four years in NYC, she returned to Manor and began working as the City of Manor Secretary. She later began working for the Travis County Appraisal District, where she retired after 15 years of service. During her retirement, she work part-time during tax season for Texas Protax Austin.

Robert and Debi loved to take long road trips around the country. Debi loved to go to the Casino and play Blackjack. She also had a love for Hummingbirds and working in her gardens.

She was preceded in death by her father, Raymond TC Hendrix; mother, Winnie Jackson; her step-father, Martin Jackson who raise her since she was four years old; three siblings, Virginia Jackson, Charles "Chuck" Hendrix, and Wanda Jackson; her niece, Jennifer "Nicki" Fointno; her nephew, Jacob Hendrix. 

Debi is survived by her husband, Robert Drosche; her daughters Julia Irwin and Chelsea Irwin; her brother, TC Hendrix and wife Karen; and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and dear friends.

Debi requested in place of flowers she would like to have donations made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital or the Wounded Warrior Project.

Family and Friends will gather to Celebrate Debra’s Life at Elgin Funeral Home on Saturday, August 17th at 11:00 AM with Brother Josh Hausladen presiding. After the service, everybody is invited to join the family at El Maguey Restaurant.
