Debra L. Forrest, 55, of Hagerstown, MD, went to be with our Lord and Savior on Wednesday, November 6, 2024.
Born October 23, 1969, in Hagerstown, MD, she was the daughter of Linda L. Guessford and the late David Massey.
She is a graduate of North Hagerstown High School, Class of 1987.
Debbie was employed as a call associate at Citicorp.
She loved her family and her annual trips to the beach.
In addition to her mother, Debbie is survived by her husband, Christopher Forrest, her father, Will Dodson, brothers, Michael Guessford and wife Tamara, and Willis Dodson and Jessica, nephews, Zachary Guessford, and Ryan Zimmerman, niece, Paula Price, special-aunt, Sharon Gatrell and Gene, aunt, Teresa Forrest, uncle, Richard Roberts II, and too many cousins and others to name.
Debbie was preceded in death by her adoptive father, Gary Guessford, grandparents, Barbara and Richard Roberts, cousin, Ricky Gatrell, who meant the world to her, aunt, Stella Rogers, and uncles Butch Shifflett, Tom Reilly, Harold Roberts and Larry Forrest.
The family will receive friends for a visitation on Thursday, November 14, 2024, from 6:00 – 8:00 pm at J.L. Davis Funeral Home, 12525 Bradbury Ave, Smithsburg, MD.
A Graveside service will be held on Friday, November 15, 2024, at 2:30 pm, at Cedar Lawn Memorial Cemetery, 17636 W Washington St, Hagerstown, MD 21740, officiated by Pastor Larry Miller, interment to follow.

I will always miss you my debbie. We had 24 of a beautiful marriage together, with hopes of many more. Although in sadness now, i will be happy when it`s my time to be called home, and we can spend eternity together. Until then, i love and miss you.
