Seneca - Debra Satterfield Forrester, 78, of Seneca went home to be with her Lord and Savior,
Jesus Christ, Saturday, October 18, 2025. She was the wife of Stephen C. Forrester, Sr.
Preceded in death by her parents, Harold L Satterfield, Jr. and Lavada Terry Satterfield and
Evelyn Greer Satterfield, her brother Joel Odom and sister Joan Belcher.
She graduated from Greer High School in 1965. She began her career as an Administrative
Assistant with Liberty Life and retired as a care-taker from The Tribble Center; a facility for
adults with special needs.
Throughout her life she was an involved member of El Bethel Baptist Church where she sang in
the choir, taught Sunday School and worked with the Youth Ministry.
Debra is survived by her husband Stephen C. Forrester, Sr., sons Stevie Forrester and Chad
Forrester(Tonya Forrester), Grandchildren Heather Forrester, Blake Forrester, Dylan Forrester,
Cale Forrester, Brooks Forrester, Ryan Forrester and 6 great grandchildren. She is also
survived by her sister, Rachel Dillard and brother Stephen Satterfield(Suzanne Satterfield).
We would like to thank the staff of MSA Hospice and the Residences at Park Place for their
unrelenting care for Debra as her health declined.
Her memorial service will be 11:00 AM Wednesday, October 22, 2025 at Living Waters Funeral Home and Crematory, 529 Spartanburg Hwy. S., Lyman, SC 29365. The family will receive friends following the service.
