Debra "Debbie" Ann Griesbach, 69, of Greenfield, Wisconsin passed away peacefully on February 10, 2026. Debbie was born on March 21, 1956, in
Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
As we mourn the loss of Debbie, we also celebrate the extraordinary life that she led. Her warmth and the love she shared will forever be remembered by those who knew her. Debbie lived a full life devoted to her family and her many passions. Married to Darrell Watson Griesbach for 49 years, and as a dedicated stay-at-home mother, Debbie poured her heart into raising her 4 sons: Dave (Heather), Doug (Devon), Dan (Katie), and Darren (Darlene). Debbie also shared a special bond with her sister Sharon Lynn Borchardt throughout her entire life. Debbie's memory will continue to inspire us all, reminding us in the beauty in commitment to family.
Debbie also cherished her role as a grandmother to Sophina, Keijun, Arwen, Clayton, Amara, James, and Ronaldo, always ready with a warm embrace, and a meal prepared with love. Debbie truly found joy in serving others, bringing people together around her table. Those who knew Debbie will remember her as loving, compassionate, and fiercely independent. Debbie's story is one of a life filled with love and laughter, and she will be deeply missed by all.
During her earlier years, Debbie enjoyed bicycling and bowling. Later on, she would discover how much she enjoyed square-dancing. She also had a special love and appreciation for animals, particularly cats, who were her constant companions for most of her life. She enjoyed going to zoos in many of the places that she had visited. Botanical Gardens was another appeal for Debbie, with carnations being her favorite flower. An adventurous spirit, Debbie loved photographing and traveling the world, creating memories across the continents. Her adventurous spirit took her on numerous cruises, each voyage an opportunity to explore new horizons and create lasting memories. These experiences enriched her life and broadened her perspective, and she often shared captivating tales of her journeys with her loved ones. Debbie also had a love for the "Star Wars" movies.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 16, 2026, at 10:00 AM at CHURCH AND CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME, 7626 W. Greenfield Avenue,
West Allis, WI, until the time of service at 12:30 PM. Burial to follow at Wisconsin Memorial Park.
