Debra W. Marshall, 72, of Urbanna, formally of Charlottesville, Virginia, passed away on December 16, 2025, after a long illness.
Born to Thomas and Roberta Marshall, Debra, known to family and friends as Debbie, pursued a lifelong commitment to learning and service. She attended the College of William & Mary and the Medical College of Virginia and completed her education at the University of Virginia.
Debbie made her home in Charlottesville, where she worked as a home health nurse and generously volunteered her time with Charlottesville Hospice. She was deeply devoted to caring for others, both professionally and personally.
In her free time, Debbie enjoyed sailing and gardening, pursuits that reflected her love of nature and peaceful moments outdoors.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Riverside Hospice of Gloucester, 7358 Main Street, Gloucester, Virginia 23061, or to Urbanna United Methodist Church, 221 Marston Avenue, Urbanna, Virginia 23175.
