Debra Memering, 71, of Ragsdale, IN passed away March 29, 2025. She was born in Vincennes, IN on October 14, 1953, to the late Thomas and Ruby (Hedge) Jones. She is a Vincennes Lincoln Alumni. Debbie married the love of her life, John W. Memering, on December 27, 1984. She worked for Cardinal's Body Shop in customer service for many years before its closure. Debbie also sold Avon Cosmetics for many years.
In her early years she enjoyed fishing, camping, and motorcycle rides with her late husband. After his passing she filled her time with crocheting, genealogy, crafting, listening to music, shopping, taking pictures, and spending time with her beloved family and dogs, Sadie and Finn. Debbie will be deeply missed by all.
She is preceded in death by her parents Thomas and Ruby Jones; husband John W. Memering; sisters Judy Deffendoll and Janet Baker; niece Brook Baker.
Debbie is survived by her son Ryan Memering; grandchildren Brennan (Jessica) Memering and Jordan Memering; great-grandchild Ember Rayne Memering; special great-niece Leaviah Jones; goddaughters Kristi (Kevin) Ritz and Kari Memering; brother Mike (Trena) Jones; niece Mindi Vestal; nephews Braun Baker, Todd Jones, Tori Jones; and numerous great nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Goodwin-Sievers is honored to be entrusted with the care of Debbie. Visitation will be held Saturday, April 5, 2025, at 524 Broadway Street from noon to service time. The funeral service will begin promptly at 2 pm with burial at Asbury Chapel Cemetery in Ragsdale, IN to follow immediately.
