Debra Lee Messer

Debra Lee Messer, of London, Kentucky was born on June 1, 1953 in Hamilton, Ohio. She was the daughter of Loyce Mullins Holland of London and the late George Holland.

She was united in marriage to her loving husband, Gary Messer who survives. She is also survived by two children, Lori Brock and husband Roy of London and Joshua Messer of Marion, Ohio; three siblings, Delilah Gilbert and husband Harold of London, Georgiana Cowden of Corbin, Kentucky and Cecil Holland and wife Mary of Manchester, Kentucky; three grandchildren, Sheyra Davis (Cody), Victoria Messer and Jolena Brock; four great-grandchildren, Cody Davis, Jr., Titus Davis, Mary Ellie Davis and Caden Gadel plus a host of other family and friends to mourn her passing.

In addition to her father she is also preceded in death by a sister, Rhonda Moore.

Debra Lee Messer departed this life on Monday, January 26, 2026 at the age of 72 years, 7 months and 25 days.

The funeral service for Debra Lee Messer will be conducted at 3 pm Thursday in the Bowling Funeral Home Chapel with Freddie Harris officiating. Burial will follow in Liberty Cemetery in London.

The family will receive friends beginning at 1 pm Thursday until the funeral hour of 3 pm at Bowling Funeral Home.
