Debra Ann Munz,72, Hudson, died on Tuesday, January 14, 2025, at Albany Medical Center.
Born, August 27, 1952 in Poughkeepsie, she was the daughter of the late Alfred Sloniker Sr. and Emma Ogden-Sloniker.
Debra worked various jobs throughout her lifetime including working as a Policy Adjuster for Marshall and Sterling for many years before her retirement.
In her free time, she enjoyed gambling, trips to the casinos, and playing scratch offs.
She also enjoyed cooking, baking, spending time with her family, and caring for animals.
She is survived by her three children, Michell Schupner and husband Ray, Tiffany Ogden, and Chivon Scalera and husband Ryan; 7 grandchildren; Logan Schupner, Ariana Foglia, Faith Foglia, Jace Ogden, Ivan Ogden, Harper Ogden, Paislee Scalera.
She is also survived by her husband and caregiver, Frank Munz, her siblings; Donna Fraleigh, Alfred Sloniker Jr. and wife Diane, Ernie Sloniker and wife Darice, and Eddie Sloniker, and brother in law Stanley VanSteenburgh.
Along with her parents she was predeceased by sister Shirley VanSteenburgh., she is now reunited with her.
In keeping with her wishes, burial at St. Peters Cemetery will be private and at the convenience of the family.
Debra 's family respectfully requests memorial donations to the Alzheimer's Association, 360 Lexington Ave. FL4, New York, NY 10017. (www.alz.org)
