Debra "Debbie" Napier, of Springdale, Arkansas, died unexpectedly on March 31, 2024, in Fayetteville, Arkansas, at the age of 69. She was born October 6, 1954, in Neosho, Missouri, the daughter of Leonard "Blackie" and Narvellia (Frisbee) (Sink) VanSlyke. Debbie had a niche for cosmetology and hair styling. She was a homemaker for most of her life but also had a cleaning business and was currently employed by Wal-Mart. She married Mark D House on January 31, 1972 and together they had six children. She is preceded by her parents; her husband, Grover Napier; daughter, Grace House; brother, Rex VanSlyke, and sister, Diane VanSlyke.
Debbie is survived by five children: Adam House and Tamiko of Olathe, Kansas; Beth Fabian of Wylie, Texas; Julie Brown of Fayetteville, Arkansas; Jennifer House and Tim Vandever, of Fayetteville, Arkansas and Jacob D House and Natoshia of Elkins, Arkansas; one brother, Sanford VanSlyke of Neosho, Missouri; three step-children; and eleven grandchildren: Dylinn, Austin, Mason, Evan, Harley, Greta, Willow, Laura, Isaac, Isabell and Adellae.
Cremation arrangements were entrusted to Memorial Funeral Home, 3926 Willowood Avenue, Springdale, Arkansas 72762.
