Debra Simmons Obituary
Debra was a Girls Scout Leader for many years, and she traveled to schools to educate girls about the many aspects of Girls Scouts. Debra took care of many children at Kass & Kerri's Playroom in Fortville and was known as Nana to many kids over the years. She was a member of Fortville United Methodist Church. She enjoyed quilting, knitting, and crafting. Her greatest joy in life was spending time with her daughters and being a Nana to her grandchildren.
Debra is survived by her daughters Amy (Nathan) Schank and Kendra Simmons; grandchildren Kerrigan, Tyler, Kassidy, Conner, Parker, and Emily; and brother Jeff (Carol) Taulman. She is preceded in death by her parents Raymond and Marian Taulman and her brother Gary Taulman.
A Celebration of Debra's Life will take place on Tuesday, November 5, 2024, at Gateway Community Church of Fortville at 4 pm with visitation beginning at 3 pm. Please share condolences at sealsfuneralhome.com
