Debra Smith

Debra Lane Smith, age 69, passed away peacefully in her home January 31, 2026. Debra is the daughter of Berta and Charles Holder and the late Virgil Holder all from Cordele, Georgia. Debra loved to shop when she was able to. When her children were little, she spent many hours at the ball field watching her children play softball. She spent a lot of time in the kitchen cooking for her family. Debra is survived by her husband, Henry Smith; her children, Tracey O'Neal (Joey), Stacy Haynes (Trey); her grandchildren, Chason O'Neal (Amy), Jordan O'Neal, and Mils Haynes. Joy and happiness came from her great grandchildren, Mallory, Maggie, and River, along with her husband, children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren, Debra is also leaving behind two brothers, Ronnie Holder (Donna), Ricky Holder (Marla); a sister, Martha Fennell (Albert); and many nieces and nephews. Debra has reunited with her father, Virgil Holder and her brother, Jeffery Holder in the arms of Jesus. Visitation will be held Tuesday, February 3, 2026, from 1:00 - 2:00 pm, with the funeral service following at 2:00 pm, in the chapel of Rainey Family Funeral Services. Burial will be private. The family will meet after the service at Berta or Henry's home.
