Declan Buss passed away on August 27, 2023, in Athens, Texas.
Declan Allen Buss was born October 3, 2006, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania the son of James Buss and Angela (McElfresh) Buss. He was a joyful and serving member of the Sand Springs Church and loved just being there. Declan was determined to share the word of God with anyone that would listen and when he wasn't at Church he enjoyed spending time with his friends and family. He also enjoyed drawing, doing sketch work and fishing. He loved listening to music and taught himself how to play the piano and guitar.
He was preceded in death by his brother Tyler Buss.
Survivors include his parents, James Buss and Angela (McElfresh) Buss of Murchison; siblings, Drake Hobel, Grace Buss and Conner Buss of Murchison; paternal grandparents, Jim and Edie Buss of Renfrew, PA.; maternal grandparents Ed Mable and wife Amy of Petrolia, PA., Randy McElfresh and wife Sandy of Worthington, PA. and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A visitation will be held prior to the service on Friday, September 1, 2023, from 10:00 a.m. -12:00 p.m. at the Hannigan Smith Funeral Home of Athens.
Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the Hannigan Smith Funeral Home family.
