Dedra Ann "Maloy" Morgan

Dedra Ann Maloy Morgan, a resident of Zachary, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Thursday, Jan. 22, 2026. She was 64 years old and was a school crossing guard with Zachary Community School. Visitation will be on Friday, Jan. 30, 2026 at Galilee Baptist Church from 10am until service at 12pm conducted by Rev. Brian Morgan and Rev. Jimmy Granger. Burial will be in Galilee Baptist Church Cemetery, Zachary. She is survived by her husband, Lenny Morgan. 2 daughters, Jessica Case and husband, Josh and Jenny Lipscomb and husband, Travis. Her mother, Mildred Threeton and siblings, Laurie Leazott and husband, Jim, Danna Lastrapes and husband, Steve, Bobbie Fontenot and husband, Scott and Johnny Threeton and wife, Lacey. Grandchildren, Dalton, Jolie, Jaxson, and Cruz. She is preceded in death by her granddaughter, Josie Marie Lipscomb and her father, Terry Maloy. She was a 1979 graduate of Zachary High School. Dedra was a retired computer programmer with Office Depot Headquarters for 21 years. Special thanks to Neuro ICU and Palliative Care at Our Lady of the Lake for all of your care and compassion during this time.

In keeping with Dedra's loving and generous spirit, it was her decision to donate the gift of life to others.
