Deena A. McMillian

Deena A. McMillian, 55, of Londonderry, NH, formerly of Chelmsford, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 7, 2022, at Lowell General Hospital surrounded by her loving family.
She was born in Lowell on May 27, 1967 and was the daughter of Marvin G. McMillian of Chelmsford and the late Joan C. (Malsbenden) McMillian.
Deena was raised in Chelmsford and graduated from Chelmsford High School. In her early years she spent time furthering her career for the Lowell Sun newspaper and Mitre Corporation, where she found the love of her first husband, Patrick Griffin. She also made a name for herself in real estate while settling into the cozy town of Colchester, CT, raising their sons Conor and Chase with the special addition of Meghan Harmon. In later years, they relocated back to Chelmsford where Deena also became a visiting nurse and transitioned to a licensed practical nurse working with companies such as Care One and Visiting Angels, where she touched many families through her caring compassionate ways.
In addition to her father, Deena leaves her sons, Chase P. Griffin and his girlfriend Courtney of Nashua, NH, and Conor Griffin and his wife Kassie of Avilla, Indiana; her siblings, John McMillian of Chelmsford, Robert McMillian of Dracut, and Steve McMillian and his wife Lisa of Tabernacle, NJ. She also leaves her nephew Ryan McMillian and niece Corin McMillian.
Visiting hours will be held on Monday, September 12, 2022 from 3pm – 6pm in the Blake Chelmsford Funeral Home, 24 Worthen St., Chelmsford. Funeral services and interment will be held privately.
