Degnars Jack Obituary
Jack graduated from Wilmington High School, class of 1959, and worked for over 30 years at Hewlett Packard. Jack loved watching Philadelphia sports and listening to music, Frank Sinatra being his favorite. His favorite thing in life was spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and his cherished dog Bentley.
Jack was predeceased by his wife of 52 years, Frances, in 2019 and his brother Alfred "Corkie" and sister-in-law Dee. He is survived by his sons Jack Degnars (Amy) and Al Degnars (partner Nancy Chase); grandchildren Emily, Jack, Al, Madelyn, and Christopher; and sister Linda Schuman (Mark).
A memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Thursday, May 18 at 11 am at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, 345 Bear-Christiana Rd., Bear, DE 19701 with a visitation with the family from 9:30-11 am.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations be made in Jack's name to the Delaware Humane Association (www.delawarehumane.org).
