The honorable Mr. Bowers touched my life with is warm heart and genuine spirit. His kindness complemented by his compassion for people of all walks has made an indelible mark upon mine and the lives of innumerable others. The uniqueness of his life assures that his transition from us has left no vacancy which can be filled. The fruit of his contributions will long continue to impact the lives of others in his physical absence as if he were yet present. May the Lord provide Mrs. Bowers and the entire family the comfort, peace and strength today, and and in the days to come.

The sorrow of the faithful is not that of permanent loss,
but the tender sense of sadness that comes in saying good-bye for now
to someone we love. May today's sorrow give way to the peace and
comfort of God's love. I will miss him and the talks we had together. Randy Hoffman, Austin, TX
