Delbert "Del" Kramer

Delbert Kramer, Churchville, PA, died at home on Monday, February 2, 2026 . He was 92 years old.

Del, as he was known, was the beloved husband of Melitta E. Maurer Kramer. The couple shared over 70 years of love, family, fond memories and laughter.

Born in Scranton, PA, Delbert was the last surviving child of eight born to the late Frank and Thelma Glaesman Kramer. He was preceded in death by four brothers, Frank Jr., Warren Sr., Larry and Ronald Kramer; and three sisters, Kay Fecchi, Irma Macareo and Gayle Grzybowski.

After his graduation from West Scranton High School, Del was employed by Fricchione and Sons. He subsequently served as a Corporal in the U.S. Army and was stationed in Augsburg, Germany. Del later worked as a millwright for the RCA Corporation in Dunmore until his retirement in 2000, eventually moving to Churchville in 2009.

In addition to his loving wife Melitta, Del will be missed and remembered by his daughter and son-in-law, Noel and Patrick Gillard of Holland, PA; his three granddaughters, Maya, Zoe and Shailyn Gillard; several nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, February 21 at 10 a.m. at Lutheran Church of God's Love, 791 Newtown Yardley Rd, Newtown.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Lutheran Church of God's Love in memory of Del.
