Delbert Francis Utes

Delbert F. Utes age 85 of Plymouth passed away peacefully at home October 3, 2025. He was born June 9, 1940 in Minneapolis to where he lived with his parents Vernon Sr. and Alivina, his brother Vernon Jr, and his sisters Loretta and Sandra. He married his first wife Karen, January 27, 1962 in Minneapolis. He lived with Karen and their two children Jeffery and Joanne in Isanti on a small hobby farm. Del worked many years at Minneapolis Electric Steel. When not at work Del enjoyed hunting, fishing, raising pigs, and spending time with family. Later in life he started his own cleaning business and ran it until he retired. Del married his second wife Gloria Wilson, January 16, 2010 adding to his family. He was known for helping loved ones in need, his sense of humor, and love of hugs. He is preceded in death by both his wives, his son, and his siblings. He is survived by Daughter Joanne (Michael) Lawrence, stepdaughters Brenda (Curt) Freese, Roxanne (Sonny) Ebert, stepson Frank (Sherrie) Wilson, and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Service Tuesday, 10/14 at 11AM at Oak Knoll Lutheran Church 600 Hopkins Crossroad Minnetonka.
