It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Delia Gomez, who left us peacefully on November 23, 2024 at the age of 77. Born on August 7, 1947 in Cuidad Juarez, Mexico, she was the daughter of Albino and Maria Isabel Gonzalez and grew up surrounded by love, laughter and a strong sense of family.
A devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, Delia gave her heart fully to those she loved. She dedicated her life to raising her children with compassion, wisdom and grace. She was the heart of our family, always selflessly putting the needs of others before her own. Her love was unconditional, her patience endless and her strength immeasurable. As a mother, she taught us the true meaning of kindness, resilience, and sacrifice.
Throughout her life, Delia was known for her warmth, compassion, and generosity. She was the one who remembered birthdays, and who was always there in times of need, ready with a listening ear, a word of encouragement, or a comforting embrace. Though our hearts ache from this loss, we find comfort knowing that she lived a life full of love, joy, and fulfillment. Her infectious laughter, warm embrace, and words of wisdom will remain with us forever.
Delia is survived by her husband Saul Gomez, her children, Gabriel Gonzalez, Abel and Ismael Gomez, Diana Gomez Arredondo, her grandchildren, Gina, Lisa, and Nora Gonzalez, Marcos and Isabella Gomez, Delilah and Darlene Arredondo, great grandchildren Gabriel, Grace, and Adonis Juarez along with numerous extended family members and friends.
Though our hearts are broken, we take comfort in knowing that Delia’s love will continue to surround us every day. She was a remarkable woman, and her memory will live on forever in the stories we share and the love we carry in our hearts.
Rest in peace Mom. You will be deeply missed, but never forgotten.
