Dell Charles Claflin, affectionately known as "Good Time Charlie," was born on August 24, 1953, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He passed away peacefully on May 2, 2025, in Slidell, Louisiana, leaving behind a legacy of joy, laughter, and cherished memories.
Dell was a man who embraced life with an infectious enthusiasm. His love for fishing and shopping reflected his vibrant personality, as he often found joy in the little things that life had to offer. His warm spirit and jovial nature made him a beloved figure among his family and friends, who fondly remember him as someone who could light up any room.
He is survived by his mother, Rosalie Claflin, who graces this world at the age of 94, a testament to the strength and resilience that Dell inherited. He leaves behind eight siblings, nieces, nephews, and many other loving family members and friends who will forever hold him close in their hearts.
Dell was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Tracy, whose memory remained close to him throughout his life. He was also preceded by his father, Dell Eaton Claflin, and his brother, Ronald Claflin. Their absence is felt deeply, but Dell's spirit ensures that their love and memories endure.
Though he has departed from this earthly realm, Dell Charles Claflin's laughter, love, and zest for life will continue to resonate within the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him. His memory will be cherished, as he leaves behind not just a family, but a community filled with shared stories and joyful moments.
