Della Joann Kiger

Della Joann Kiger, 83, of Rockville, Indiana, passed away Tuesday, July 22, 2025, at Clinton Gardens in Clinton, Indiana. She was born September 14, 1941, in Rockville, Indiana, to the late Lloyd E. Sparks and Juanita McCown Sparks. Della was a devoted homemaker and cherished her family above all else.
She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Glenn Kiger, whom she married on January 18, 1980, in Rockville; two sons, Terry Brattain of Minnesota and Tim Brattain of Montezuma; two daughters, Jasmine Sparks of Waveland and Pamela Barnes of Rockville; one brother, James Sparks of Rockville; one sister, Shirley Albin of Rockville; ten grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by one son, Mark Brattain; three brothers, Harold Sparks, Jack Sparks, and Bob Sparks; two sisters, Judy Smith and Martha Ricketts and one grandson.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 pm Friday, July 25, at Memory Garden Cemetery in Rockville with Pastor Keith B. McIntyre officiating. Burial will follow.
