Della Maye Singleterry

Della Maye Singleterry, 91, of Corpus Christi, Texas passed away Thursday, November 13, 2025.

Maye was the oldest of twins born to Samuel and Katie (Bass) Hall in Marlow, Oklahoma on July 3, 1934. Parents and both sisters, Jewel Cowley and Ella Faye Mason preceded Maye in death.

Maye met her husband in grade school. After graduation from Marlow High School, she married Delray Singleterry (deceased). They had three children: Bruce Singleterry, Katherine Bauman (Singleterry) and Mark Singleterry. Many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Maye worked in the finance office of Padre Island Investments as North Padre Island was in development stages. Then moved to and retired from Corpus Christi Teachers Credit Union as a loan officer.

She loved traveling to visit with family and friends. Camping so she could stir the campfire. Playing card games and dominos; walking and socializing at the mall.

Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral Home, 415 W. Main Street, Marlow, Oklahoma, will assist family with Maye's wishes for an informal family and friends gathering at the graveside in Marlow Cemetery, off Memorial Drive, Marlow, Oklahoma at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, November 19, 2025. Visitation will be available from 12:00 pm until 7:00 pm on Tuesday, November 18, 2025 at the Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral Home in Marlow, Oklahoma.

Maye enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was always looking forward to spending holidays with her children and their families.

Children: Bruce (Armi) Singleterry, Katherine Bauman, Mark (Andrea) Singleterry.

Grandchildren: Randolph (Victoria) Singleterry, Jon (Jennifer) Bauman, Barclay (Cassandra) Bauman, Kimberly Singleterry, Robert (Ashley) Singleterry, Shawn (Haley) Singleterry, Kirsten Murray and fiancé Cody Martin, Jonathan (Courtney) Murray.

Great Grandchildren: KayLee Logan and fiancé Ethan Whaley, Jaye Bauman, Bo Singleterry, Alaia Singleterry, Styrlyn Singleterry (deceased), Sadie Martin, Madelynn Martin, Iris Mani, Miyuki Mani, and Leonidas Mani.
