Delores Iverson passed away on August 15th 2025 at the age of 88. She was born on May 4, 1937 in Nelson, Minnesota to Emil and Anna (Hedlof) Olson. She grew up on the family farm with four older brothers and one sister. After graduating from Alexandria HS, she attended the Minnesota School of Business and from there began work at International Harvester. There she met Merlin Iverson, and they were married July 13, 1958. They lived in Minneapolis and had two sons, Mark and John. They moved with Harvester to Jeffersontown, Kentucky in 1972 and then Olathe, Kansas in 1981. After Merlin's death in 2010, she moved to Bowling Green, Kentucky to be near Mark and family.

Delores was very active in church, being church secretary at multiple locations, always in the choir, played piano as needed, and later enjoyed time in the bell choir. Outside of church and working for small independent businesses, she enjoyed many hobbies, especially cross stitching, reading and a true favorite - bridge. She greatly enjoyed the company of her friends from all aspects of her life.

Delores is preceded in death by her husband, her parents, her brothers Alvin, Rudolph, Edward and Raymond, sister Eunice, and their spouses. She is survived by her sons Mark (Kim) and John (Sharon) and grandsons Jordan (Laura), Stuart (Erin), Stefan (Kristen) and Collin (Morgan) and their families, including seven great-grandchildren: Margaret, Ansel, Brooks, Jack, Lydia, Owen and Sutton.

There will be a public visitation from 10AM-12PM on Monday, August 18th at The Presbyterian Church (1003 State Street, Bowling Green, KY) followed by a Funeral Service at noon.
