Jimmy Keith Dile, age 62, passed away peacefully on August 17, 2025 in his home with his loving wife of 33 years, Jennifer by his side.

He was born October 9, 1962 to Jim H. Dile and the late Dessie Compton Dile. He worked at Bowling Green Municipal Utilities as a lineman until retirement. He loved his work as a lineman and took great pride in his job. He loved the guys he worked with and appreciated their visits during his illness.

Jimmy was a gifted wood worker and enjoyed spending time in his workshop. He also loved to travel, especially anything to do with history. He and Jennifer never missed an opportunity to go junkin. Most importantly he loved his family and close friends.

Jimmy was predeceased in death by his sister, Sheila Hardin, brother Kim Dile, brother Tommy Compton, nieces Emily Dile and Angie Atkins.

Along with his wife, Jennifer of 33 years, he is survived by his father Jim Dile, brothers; Kevin Dile (Arlene) and Steve Dile, his sister Kathy Harper (Chris), Nieces; Christy Holder (Dwight), Elizabeth Smith (Garrett), Emma Medley (Garret), Olivia Anderson, nephews; Jeremiah Anderson (Lindsey) Elijah Anderson, James Compton, Johnny Compton (Gayla), Geoffrey Compton (Sandra) and several great nieces and nephews.

There will be a visitation at J.C. Kirby & Son Lovers Lane Chapel on Wednesday, August 20th, 2025 from 4-8PM and on Thursday, August 21st, 2025 from 9-11AM followed by a funeral service in the chapel. Internment will be in Bowling Green Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to Hospice of Southern Kentucky

Our condolences for Jimmy´s family. We were neighbors at the Bogle mobile home park. We´ve since moved around and now in California but never forget those we left behind and Dile family are special people in our heart.
