Joe Vance 'Joey' Shultz, Jr., 70, of Bowling Green departed this life on August 20, 2025 at The Medical Center at Bowling Green.

The Salina, Kansas native was born June 7, 1955 to the late Joe Vance Shultz Sr and Ms Addie 'Carol' Stewart Fleenor who survives. He was also preceded in death by his son, Nathanial 'Ashley' Shultz and brother, Donald 'Brad' Shultz.

In addition to his mother, he is also survived by his wife of 50 years as of just a few days ago, Angela Hunton Shultz; son, Shane Shultz (Leslie); grandchildren, Dylan Shultz, Nate Allen Shultz, and Kaden Vance Shultz; sister, Donna Holland (Craig); sister-in-law, Beverly Burkle (Lud); nieces, Stephanie Holland, Melanie Tracey, and Emily Mattingly; and nephews, Bradley Shultz, Matt Shultz, Jeremy Shultz, Daniel Shultz, Dane Burkle (Amber), Tyler Burkle, and Devon Burkle (Heather).

Per Joey's wishes, cremation was chosen with a Celebration of Life at a later date. J.C. Kirby & Son Funeral Chapels has been entrusted with arrangements.
