Ruth "Ruthie" Ann Anderson, 65, of Bowling Green, passed away on August 18, 2025, surrounded by family. Born August 26, 1959, she will be remembered for her generous heart, strong work ethic, and love for the outdoors.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Dolly Dimple Waters; her husband, Robert Douglas Anderson; her sister, Bessie Waters; brothers Bobby House, Frank, John, George, and Hurman Waters; and her stepson, James Calvin Douglas Jr.

Ruthie is survived by her daughters, Ruth Ann (Joey) Matos and Juanita Maria (Wade) Harris; her partner & sweetness, James "Andy" Douglas Sr.; stepson, Courtney Douglas; sister, Minnie Sue (Mark) Riddle; brothers, Willie and Henry Waters; grandchildren, Hayden Anderson, Jaelyn Harris, and Wyatt Mesker; and many nieces and nephews.

She worked for many years at the laundromat, where she was known as a loyal friend and confidant to many. Ruthie's laughter, feisty spirit, and unconditional love will forever live on in the hearts of her family and friends.

There will be no services at this time and cremation has been chosen. The J.C. Kirby & Son Funeral Chapel on Broadway has been entrusted with these services. A celebration of her life will be announced at Stonehenge Laundry.
