Georgia Darleena Anderson, 75, of Wabash, Indiana, died at 5:05 am, Wednesday, August 27, 2025, at Parkview Wabash Hospital. She was born on July 5, 1950, in Elkhorn City, Kentucky, to Willard and Ival (Wallace) Lyons.

Darleena married Neil Anderson in Grundy, Virginia on January 24, 1984. She worked as the deli/bakery manager at Clark's Finer Foods in Wabash from 1981-2004, and as a CNA at Peabody Retirement Community in North Manchester, and Bickford Cottage in Wabash, retiring in 2011. Darleena enjoyed cooking, collecting dolls, cookie jars, and rocks, and especially loved her family.

She is survived by her husband, Neil Anderson of Wabash; two daughters, Tammy (Chris) Miller of Peru, Indiana, and Beverly (John) Griffith of Wabash; five grandchildren, Billie Faust and Meagan Nelson, both of Wabash, Kristen Nelson of Indianapolis, Indiana, Brianna (Jordan Ream) Walters of Kokomo, Indiana, and Kassidy Burton of Peru; three sisters, Tammy, Mary, and Anne; and her dog Duke. She was preceded in death by her parents and 2 brother, James and Carl Lyons.

There will be a Celebration of Darleena's life on Thursday, September 4, 2025, from 2-4 pm, at Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service, 1241 Manchester Avenue, Wabash.

Preferred memorial is Alzheimer's Association.
