Delores devoted 69 beautiful years of her life to her devoted husband, Philip Ray Kazee. Together, they built a life filled with unwavering love and support. Her legacy continues through her grandchildren-Melissa Lynn Clay (Preston), Robert Caleb Jones, Alexandria Nichole Geisler (Casey), and Zachary Adams Kazee-who brought her immense joy. Most importantly, Delores' heart was filled with love for her great-grandchildren: Kaz Preston Clay, Kalynn Reese Clay, Indie Rose Geisler, and Marlie Isabel Geisler. Each of them held a special place in her heart, and she adored watching them grow and thrive.
A proud graduate of Georgetown College, she was a member of Kappa Delta sorority, cheerleader and homecoming queen. Delores met Philip there, sparking a love story that would last decades. Delores dedicated over 30 years to teaching in the Oneida Independent School District, impacting the lives of countless students. Additionally, her commitment to her faith and community shone through her role as a Sunday School teacher at First Baptist Church in Oneida, where she taught for over 30 years.
Outside the classroom, Delores had a passion for antiquing and thrifting, often sharing this love with friends who became like family to her. Her warm spirit drew people in, and she treasured the simple moments spent socializing on her back porch, reminiscing about the joys of her life.
Delores was a steadfast supporter of her husband's ministry and took great pride in her family's achievements, often attending their sporting events with great enthusiasm. The essence of her life was woven with love, joy, and a profound sense of community.
