Delores M. Zingsheim

Delores Margaret Zingsheim (nee Kahlhamer), 85, born on January 6th, 1940 to Joseph and Cora Kahlhamer in Leroy, Wisconsin and passed on July 28th, 2025.
Delores was an active member of 4H club where she was a bee keeper. She attended Mayville high school where she was involved in the school choir and graduated in 1958. After high school, she worked various jobs until she married in 1963. Delores enjoyed swimming, bowling, and roller skating with her children. She liked listening and dancing to polka music and was a long-term member of the card club. Her greatest joy was spending time and making memories with her husband, kids, grandkids and great-grandkids.
Delores was united in marriage with David Zingsheim on September 14th, 1963 at Saint Andrews Church in Leroy, Wisconsin.
Delores is survived by her husband, David Zingsheim; her four children, Dawn (Dan) Rebman, Debi (Mark) Brandenburg, Danette (Aaron) Zingsheim and Donna (Jeff) Rapacz; her nine grandchildren, Crystal (Matt) Lambrecht, Emmit (Sandra) Rebman, Hope (Thomas) Dymond, Niyaz Brandenburg, Cris Brandenburg, Madison Rapacz, Nick Bauer, Kaity Rapacz, Lauren Butts-Zingsheim; her two great-grandchildren, Tucker and Lydia Lambrecht.
Delores was preceded in death by her parents Joseph and Cora Kahlhamer; sister, Mary Jane Waas and brothers-in-law, Ed Zingsheim, Marvin Marohl and Ray Collien.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, August 1st, 2025, at Saint Catherine's of Alexandria in Oconomowoc Wisconsin. Family will greet relatives and friends from 9:00 a.m. until the start of Mass at 10:30 a.m. Burial will immediately follow service with a lunch served after in the church basement.
A special thank you to Dodge County behavioral health services, especially to Dr. Roy, who gave exceptional and compassionate care to Delores for over twenty years; and Watertown memorial hospital Gero Psych unit for their exception care.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be made to NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness) to help others who are navigating their mental health journey.
