Age 93 of Blaine, MN passed away on February 15, 2026 at home surrounded by love.

DelRoy was preceded in death by his wife, Marcile; granddaughter, Katie; and brother, Lenny. He will be deeply missed by his children, Don (Jill Hodges) Brunko, Vanetta (Bob) Thom, Michelle Brunko, and Colleen (Marc) Flanders; grandchildren, Derek Brunko, Daren Brunko, Andrew Thom, Kyle Thom, Jenna (Ian) Beach, Adam Reckoff, Spencer Reckoff, Ellie (Tony Wrazidlo) Flanders, and Sarah Flanders; great grandchildren, Landon Molstad and Miles Wrazidlo; sisters-in-law, Doris Clouse and Ardis Brunko; and many nieces and nephews.

DelRoy was born in South Haven, MN and grew up in Olivia, MN, where he graduated from Olivia High School. After high school, he served in the Army during the Korean War as a Flash Ranging Specialist for 529th Field Artillery. DelRoy married the love of his life, Marcile (Clouse) on June 18, 1960. They built their house in Blaine where they raised their family and remained there throughout their lives. He spent his career with Western Electric installing computer main frames. He was a loving husband and father and a man of high morals, great integrity, a fixer of all things and a master of recycling. As Dad would always say when we would leave, "Be careful honey."

A memorial service will be held on Monday, March 2nd at Washburn-McReavy Coon Rapids Chapel (1827 Coon Rapids Blvd NW, Coon Rapids) at 11am with visitation one hour prior. A lunch will be hosted at the Coon Rapids VFW following the service.
