DelRoy "Del" Winchester

Delroy 'Del' Charles Winchester, 81, of Ramsey, MN, passed away on November 17, 2025, surrounded by family. Born on September 6, 1944, in Parkers Prairie, MN and raised by his grandparents Will and Minnie Hendershot. Del lived a life grounded in hard work, dedication, and deep love for those around him.

Del was happily married for 60 years to the love of his life, Sue. Del and Sue were married July 3, 1965, in Ottertail County. Their marriage was a true partnership built on devotion, resilience, and shared joy. They created a family and a legacy that will continue for generations.

Del was a hardworking man and a true outdoorsman. He treasured time spent hunting, fishing, and being outside, and he shared that love of the outdoors with his family. Known for his steady presence and quiet strength, he was someone others could always depend on. Del was also known for being able to "do it all." He could build or fix anything imaginable.

Above all, Del was a great father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. His family meant everything to him.

He is survived by his wife, Susann Rae Winchester; son, Anthony Charles Winchester and daughter-in-law Deborah Sue Winchester; grandsons, Zachary Shawn Winchester and Dalton Charles Winchester; granddaughters, Makenzie Ann Winchester (Dylan Nelson) and Olivia Nicole Winchester; great-grandson, Waylon Charles Winchester; and great-granddaughter Charlee Anne Winchester.

Preceding Del in death were his grandparents, Will and Minnie Hendershot, and son, Shawn Peter Winchester.

Del will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him, and his legacy will continue to be felt in the lives of his family and those he touched.

A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, December 8, 2025, at Gearhart Anoka Funeral Home (552 East River Rd. Anoka, MN) with visitation beginning at 9:00 a.m. until time of service.

Locally, a memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, December 8, 2025, at the Domian-Anderson Chapel - 309 2nd Avenue NW., Bertha, MN.

Inurnment following in Oak Valley Cemetery in Oak Valley Township, near Hewitt and Deer Creek, MN.
