Denette was a devoted mother and grandmother and Gigi and everyone she knew and met knew how much love and care she had for everyone. She was a wonderful cook and was famous for her crab dip. Denette was a big fan of the Iowa Cornhuskers and Jeff Gordon. Her best friend, Barbara Chambles, was her rock and soul. They helped each other through good and bad times. Charley Grimes was another person she cared for and loved throughout the years. She will be dearly missed.
Denette is survived by her son: Lee Edward Compton of Kermit, TX; daughter: Renee Compton of Kermit, TX; brother: Greg Peterman and wife Melody of Plainview, TX; sister: Jerri Frizzel and husband Bruce of Cortez, Co; and two grandchildren: Lane and Maximus.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Dale and Norma Peterman; and her soulmate: Stanley Compton.
Arrangements are entrusted to Family Services Funeral Parlor and condolences may be sent to the family online at www.fs-fp.com.

Little and tiny and moved like lightning! Couldn't keep up with her.
