Denis Kaderli Obituary
In 1974, Kat graduated from St. Mary's High School in Fredericksburg where he played football and baseball and was a member of the track team. In May of 1976, he graduated with honors from Schreiner College in Kerrville, Texas, earning an Associate in Arts degree.
Kat worked for many years for the City of Fredericksburg until his retirement several years ago. He was a diligent, highly skilled and reliable employee.
Kat loved the outdoors and particularly enjoyed fishing and walking his beloved dog, Marvin. He was always pleased by the enthusiastic reactions he noticed as they navigated the streets of Fredericksburg.
Energetic and athletic, Kat participated in softball leagues and tournaments through the years. He played flag football, and he also played baseball for the Fredericksburg Cardinals. He was a talented musician, songwriter and singer.
Kat was predeceased by his father and mother, Marvin and Rita Kaderli, and by a brother and sister, Mark and Marie, who died in infancy.
He is survived by his brother, Michael Kaderli and wife Johnnie; his twin brother, Daniel Kaderli; his niece, Elizabeth Kaderli and her husband, Christopher Buehler, and Heath Holloway, whom he thought the world of and helped to raise.
Kat will be greatly missed by many people. His friends and loved ones will forever remember his outgoing personality, his keen mind, his quick wit and great sense of humor, and, of course, his tremendous enthusiasm for his beloved Texas Longhorns and Dallas Cowboys.
The family will greet friends on Thursday, July 24, from 10 to 11 a.m., at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Fredericksburg, with a Mass of Resurrection at 11 a.m.
A reception will follow in the Holy Family Center immediately following the Mass.
