Denise Brown Baham was born September 1, 1959, in Baton Rouge, to the late Earl and Irma Edwards Brown. She passed away at her home September 14, 2025, in Independence. Denise was a former business owner and loved creative hobbies, plants, and birdwatching. She is survived by her husband, Charles “Milton” Baham; daughter, April Lemken; brother, Mike Brown, sister, Donna Gail Jones; grandchildren, Chyenne McGee, Zackary Underwood, Debriana Durham, Darrel Underwood, Hunter Underwood, Sarah Cuccia and Michael Cuccia, III; and a great grandson, Axel Durham. In addition to her parents, Denise is preceded in death by her daughter, Angel Baham. Visitation will be at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, 2000 N. Morrison Bouevard, Hammond, Saturday, September 27, 2025, from 12:00 p.m. until religious services at 2:00 p.m. Burial will follow in Colonial Cemetery, Independence.
