Born on April 14, 1972, in Seymour, Denise was the daughter of Rickie Reichenbacker and Lois Price (Hamblen).
Denise spent many years working as a bartender and served as the VFW's local bartender for over 25 years. She was an avid NASCAR fan who never missed a race and loved hosting watch parties, where friends and family gathered to enjoy her famous homemade pizza and her enthusiastic spirit. She shared countless adventures on the open road with her husband, riding their Harley-Davidson together and making memories that will be cherished forever. With her warm smile, lively energy, and boundless love for those around her, she was truly the light of everyone's life, leaving behind a legacy of joy, laughter, and unforgettable moments.
Denise is survived by her husband, Eric Bannister; daughter, Erica Bannister; grandchildren, Kadence Luckey and Kyhanne Luckey; brothers, Michael Reichenbacker (Crissy) and Terry Reichenbacker (Angie); sisters, Molly Stark and Krista Haskins; and several nieces and nephews.
Denise is preceded in death by her maternal and paternal grandparents.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 4, 2025 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Voss and Sons Funeral and Cremation, 316 North Chestnut Street, Seymour. A second visitation will be held on Friday, September 5, 2025 from 10:00 AM until service time. Services honoring Denise's life and legacy will begin at 11:00 AM Friday, at Voss and Sons Funeral Home with Amos Mills officiating. Burial will follow in Crothersville Cemetery
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Denise's honor may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
