Patsy Jane Allman

Patsy Jane (Dial) Allman, 80, of Seymour passed away January 27, 2025, at IU University Hospital in Indianapolis, after a brief illness. She was born October 13, 1944, in Glasgow Kentucky to the late Linville R. and Mildred (Staples) Dial.
Patsy met Roland Allman while out at the movies, and they married in September 1961. They shared more than 40 wonderful years together until his passing in 2003. Patsy will be remembered as a ray of sunshine who never met a stranger. She had fun browsing flea markets and garage sales, made her own quilts, and tended to her flowers. She was an enthusiastic BINGO player and loved going to the casinos. One of her favorite travel destinations was Las Vegas, where she visited four times. When she was no longer able to go to the casinos, she loved playing the scratch-off BINGO lottery version. Patsy's greatest passion in life, however, was her family, whom she loved very much. Her grandchildren meant everything to her.
Left behind to cherish Patsy's memory are her children, Michael (Jody) Allman, Sondra (Willis) Walker, and Roland "Dale" Allman Jr; grandchildren, Nicole Jones, Robert "Bobby" Allman, and Ashley Elaine Allman; and great grandchildren, Nickoli Allman and Madison Cornwell.
She is preceded in death by her parents, listed above; her beloved husband, Roland Allman; and one son, Bobby Joe Allman.
Funeral services for Patsy will be held Thursday, January 30, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at Voss and Sons Funeral and Cremation Services, 316 North Chestnut Street, Seymour. Pastor Dennis Allman of Seymour Christ Temple will officiate. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Patsy will be laid to rest immediately following at Riverview Cemetery.
