Denise Brita Obituary

Denise was a graduate of Northrop High School and Ivy Tech Community College Fort Wayne with a degree in Paralegal Studies. She loved traveling, camping, Notre Dame and being next to the ocean. Denise was a devoted daughter, sister, aunt, and friend.
Preceding her in death is her nephew, Dominick Brita.
She is survived by sister, Tina Maniotes; brothers, Bernie (Ellen) Brita and Jim (Maria) Brita all of Fort Wayne. Also surviving her are niece's Susan (Wendell) Brown and Alexandria Brita all of Fort Wayne, and a nephew Sean Rickoff of Fort Wayne, great-nephews, Aaron & Allen Rickoff and Antonio Brown all of Fort Wayne. Close extended family members, Mike Burrey, Melody Martinez, and Kristina Chandler also survive. Denise was a beacon of light that lived richly devoted to the service of others. We will miss her every day!
The family will receive relatives and friends on Monday, March 17, 2025, at Divine Mercy Funeral Home, 3500 Lake Ave., Fort Wayne, Indiana 46808, from 2:00-6:00pm with a service beginning at 6:00pm
Memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society in honor of Denise M. Brita.

Tina, I was so sorry to hear of Denise´s passing. I was very fortunate to know Denise and had the opportunity to work with her at various times during her 25 year tenure at K&K. I never saw Denise without a smile and her laugh was infectious. Please know of my thoughts and prayers for your family but especially for you as her dear sister.
