Denise Kaye Conner

Denise Kaye Conner passed away peacefully on January 29, 2025, in her hometown of Evansville, IN, at the age of 55. Born on July 18, 1969, to the late Larry Lance and Ida Ranchaert, Denise lived life on her own terms, embracing her passions and interests with a free spirit.
She is survived by her husband, Duane Conner, as well as her children: Emily Geier (Heather), Brett Quesinberry, Cory Quesinberry (Kristi Tipton), Andrew Sargent (Noelle Sargent), and Cody Sargent. She also leaves behind many grandchildren, Kiley, Kaylee, De'Juan, Detravion, Lucus, Skyla, Bailey, Damien, Dayman, Isis, Comi, Dennis, Hinder, Aceilya, Makaylynn, Devlin, Temperance, Ka'Myiah, Alexander, Andi, Jax, and Lamar. She even had the joy of becoming a great-grandmother to little Chance.
Denise was a sister to Kent Lance (Liz), Hayden Roll (Priscilla), Cana Mills, and Misty Lance, and a stepdaughter to Tim Ranschaert and a beloved daughter-in-law to Sheila Conner. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Todd Roll.
Denise found solace in nature and could often be found taking country rides, with the wind in her hair and a smile on her face. Her collection of mopeds was a testament to her zest for life and her adventurous spirit. She had a talent for and enjoyed crocheting, especially baby blankets. Her dogs were her loyal companions, and she found great comfort in their presence.
A service to honor Denise's life will be held on Monday, February 3rd, at 12 PM at Sunset Funeral Home, with visitation beginning at 11 AM. She will be remembered for the independence with which she lived and the unique mark she left on those who knew her.
