Denise Days born November 14, 1958, in Columbus, Ohio, to the late Gary & Geraldine Days. She departed this life on October 19, 2024, in her home under Hospice Care. Denise was educated in the Columbus City School District, graduated from Linden McKinley High School in 1977. Denise accepted the LORD and was baptized at an early age.
Denise was a loving mother to her son Flonory & to his wife Melissa and a loving grandmother to their children. Denise was also a loving sibling to her twin, Darlene, who never left her side when the illnesses setin. She loved her other siblings Karen and Gary as well. Indicative of the number of visitors, phone calls and texts she received during her illness – she LOVED everyone.
Denise retired from the OSU and began doing her favorite things full time, i.e., fishing, gardening, visiting with neighbors over the fence and cooking – especially her famous peanut butter cookies which were a favorite for her family as well as all who tasted them.
Denise was preceded in death by her parents: Gary & Geraldine Days; siblings: Keith & Stephanie Days. She leaves to cherish her memory: Son, Flonory (Melissa) Days. Siblings: Gary Days, Jr., Darlene (Mark) Smith, Karen Days. Grandchildren: Summer, Flonory, Jr. & Dallas Days. Nieces: Tonowoa Days, Samantha Smith. Grand-Niece: Koryn Brown. God Children: Juan, Shana, Seffra. Best Friend: Roberta Stewart. Very Special Friend: Eddie Hutton. A host of cousins, devoted family members and friends.
