Denise is survived by her loving husband, Dobbs Johnson; her sons, Jerred Kenney of Amarillo, TX, and his wife, Sheila Kenney, along with their sons, Lane, Ben, and Sam Kenney; Matt Kenney of Canyon, TX, and his wife, Aegina Kenney, along with their children, granddaughter Sydney and grandsons Gian and Max Kenney. She was a devoted mother and grandmother, deeply involved in the lives of her grandchildren, whom she adored and who affectionately called her "Neesie."

Denise spent most of her career at DePauw Construction, a business founded by her father and grandfather. She had a passion for the construction industry, enjoying discussions about dirt work, fly ash, and Caterpillar equipment. Denise considered the employees of DePauw Construction to be part of her extended family and always went above and beyond to support them.

Denise was a devout Christian and had a deep love for the state of Israel. She cherished her faith and loved sharing her love for Jesus with her grandchildren. She was known for her strong will and fierce loyalty. Her greatest joy in life was spending time with her grandchildren, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
