Denise (Densie Dunaway) A. Walker, age 71, passed away on Thursday, October 9, 2025, with her daughters by her side, at Country Terrace Assisted Living in Tomahawk, where she fought a tough battle of Dementia. Denise lived most of her life in Beloit, WI, where she was born January 11, 1954, to the late Ross Dunaway and Mary (Chaplain) Glover.
She filled her days driving school bus, a job she especially enjoyed. Denise later achieved the honors of driving charter bus, which was a highlight of her life, to drive her many Chicago Bear fans to and from games (she loved her Chicago Bears and for her mom, it was the Packers). Denise later drove for UPS. Denise loved to clean and was known for her meticulous "white glove" cleaning trait. She loved NASCAR and vintage cars, a passion she shared with her family. Denise was the shy, quiet type with a true, one-of-a-kind cute gesture only she had. With twinkle in her eyes, she would wrinkle her little nose and give you a soft smile, especially those she loved dearly.
Survivors include her three daughters, Nita (David) Brown, Candi (Randy) Senoraske, and Tina (Jeff) Balz; her siblings, Ross (Debbie) Dunaway, Jr., Debra Dunaway, Cindy (Ken) Corberly, Henery (Nicole) Dunaway, Dawn (Rick) Walmer, Sandy (Ed) Brown, and Pam (John) Walker; and her grandchildren, Josh (Katilin) Axelson, Nick Axelson, Ryan (Alyssa) Achterberg, Erica Busche, Bridget Achterberg, Ben (Crystal) Axelson, Daniel (Paola) Axelson, Christopher (Brianna) Busche, Patrick Axelson, and Rita Axelson. Denise is further survived by nine great-grandchildren; and her forever friend, Donna Seivert. In addition, she had many nieces and nephews. Denise was preceded in death by her parents; Ross and Mary Ann; her siblings, Pamela Sloniker and Faye Long; and her grandson, Kurtis Busche.
In accordance with her wishes, no formal services will be held. Thank you to all who have helped with kind words and support through these difficult times. Generations Funeral Home & Crematory is assisting the family.
