Denman Arthur Powers, Jr., 85, of Gulfport, MS passed away on Sunday, May 18, 2025, in Gulfport.
He was born on January 12, 1940, in Meridian, MS to Aubrey Louise and Denman Powers. He was called to active duty during the Cuban Missile Crisis while in the Air National Guard. Denman was retired from Enterprise Products in Houston, TX and was a Coast musician. His hobbies were music, movies and family.
Denman was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Virginia Seydel.
Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Connie Powers; his children, Denman Powers, Jr. (Mary), Stephanie Foster, Julie Powers and Lisa Dearman (Danny); his grandchildren, Jonathon and Benjamin Foster, Ivy, Andrew and Madison Green and Rowan and Elijah Powers; and a sister, Sandra Davis.
There will be a celebration of Denman’s life from 2:00 until 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 25, 2025, at The French Club, 182 Howard Avenue, Biloxi, MS 39531.
