Denni Francis Bogert Russell

Denni Francis Bogert Russell passed away peacefully on November 21, with her family by her side. She was born on September 19, 1941, in Palo Alto, California, and spent most of her life in Palm Springs, where she grew up, and remained until her final days.
Denni attended St. Theresa School and Palm Springs High School before studying international studies at the Universidad de las Américas in Mexico City. She later built her career in the desert working in the travel and rental industries, careers that suited her warm, outgoing nature.
Denni was the kind of person who lifted the energy of any room she walked into. She made ordinary days more fun. She was always smiling, quick to laugh, and had a way of making family gatherings feel lively. She loved a good party, loved people even more, and kept friendships that lasted decades.
A loving daughter, mother, sister, grandmother and aunt, Denni found her greatest joy in her family - especially her grandchildren and the younger generation she doted on.
Denni was preceded in death by her parents, Janice and Frank Bogert; her sister, Cindy Bogert Lamn; and her son, Frank "Pancho" Russell. She is survived by her daughter, Lori Russell; her sister, Donna Bogert Higueras; her brother-in-law, Jose Higueras; her stepmother, Negie Bogert; her grandchildren, Frankie and Henry Russell; her daughter-in-law, Diana Russell; her nephew, Jordi Higueras; her niece, Jenna Higueras; and her grandniece Selene and grandnephews Matias and Calvin.
Denni's vibrant spirit, loving heart and joyful presence will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew her.
