John Philip Santucci

Our oldest brother, John Santucci, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on November 4, 2025. We have no doubt that he was joyfully welcomed at the pearly gates by our loving parents, Julia and John Santucci. John was born in Rochester, New York in 1954, and at four years old, our parents moved John and younger brother Jim to the Coachella Valley.
John attended St. Theresa's Elementary School, Raymond Cree Junior High, and Palm Springs High School. He spent many years as the cherished bartender at the family's Capri Italian Restaurant in Desert Hot Springs, welcoming patrons with warmth and his signature wit. John was known for his remarkable memory and his talent for recalling sports statistics at a moment's notice, a gift that brought joy to friends and guests alike.
John is survived by his son, John Paul, and his siblings, Jim (Sharon), Joe, Jerry (Eve), Janet, and many loving nieces and nephews. He will be laid to rest in a private graveside service at Desert Memorial Park, close to our much missed parents, John and Julia Santucci.
