Dennis M. Adams, Sr. of Maple Shade passed away peacefully at home on Thursday October 3, 2024 at the age of 68, surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Philadelphia on February 6, 1956 to the late Robert and Loretta Adams and resided there until moving to Maple Shade 23 years ago. Dennis proudly served his country in the US Marines during the Vietnam War, and was retired from the US Postal Service in Philadelphia. Dennis was an avid fisherman, a Philadelphia Eagles fan and enjoyed spending time with his family.
Beloved husband of 45 years to Linda Adams (nee Finkenhofer), loving father of Dennis Adams, Jr., dear brother of Charles (the late Maryann) Adams, Wayne (Cathy) Adams, and the late Robert (Gerry) Adams, loving brother-in-law of Patricia (Walt) Miller, Richard (Janet) Greco, Michael (MaryJo) Greco, Thomas (Deanie) Greco, and Lisa (John) Quirk, son-in-law of the late Richard and Betty Finkenhofer, Dennis will also be missed by many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation with his family on Monday, October 14th 10-11 AM at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 236 East Main Street, Maple Shade. His Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11 AM. Interment will be private. Memorial contributions would be appreciated in Dennis's name to Disabled American Veterans @ help.dav.org
